This project studies about the Modularised Passenger Seats. The objective of this project is to create 3 unique passenger seat concepts with focus on modularisation, features and manufacturing. The distinctive aspects are: a collapsible passenger seat, that is simple to foldup fully, a bench for 2 passengers, along with a relaxing seat for resting in the course of breaks in the event the automobile is parked. The key tools employed throughout the hunt for concept solutions are brainstorming, morphological analyses, and evaluation matrixes. Prototypes were created in order to imagine the ideas but in addition the likelihood to test them in an actual truck cabin and by that discover pros but also weaknesses. Final product specifications has been created and with that suggestions for an ongoing development work. Experiences obtained in this thesis work has been that through the use of ergonomic data and theories, well considered designs, and standard interfaces a good result can be attained, which fulfills the requirements and desires put on the future product.
