Molecular chaperones and Transthyretin Amyloid Disease

We have done this projects to get a deep understanding of how chaperones communicate with unstable, aggregation prone, misfolded proteins linked to human disease. Molecular chaperones are proteins which act as agents that aid other proteins to fold accurately. The projects discusses about Protein folding, Genetic mutations, Protein misfolding, Transthyretin (TTR), Molecular chaperones, Apoptosis, Caspases Methods, Cloning, mutagenesis, etc.

Infections of Chlamydia pneumoniae

Thera are a couple of important human pathogens in the family of Chlamydiaceae. Distinct serovars of Chlamydia trachomatis lead to sexually-transmitted disease and eye infections as opposed to C. pneumoniae (TWAR) is a typical cause of community-acquired respiratory infection. Chlamydia has a type III secretion system essential for delivery of effector proteins in to the host for host-cell interactions.

Risk of Artemisinin in Early Pregnancy

The primary purpose of this research project is to study the risk of artemisinin in early pregnancy employing a qualitative research technique. Artemisinin-Based Combination Therapy (ACT) is considered the most effective and recommended antimalarial treatment presently. Some other topics discussed are: artemisia efficiency in pregnancy, artemisinin control in pregnancy, etc.

DNA Quality of Beer Ingredients

The main goal in this project report was to see if good quality DNA could possibly be extracted from ingredients utilized in beer brewing like barley, malt and hop . Good quality DNA is critical in DNA fingerprinting methods that could be utilized for detection of ingredients. To be able to analyze the DNA quality right after extraction we applied 3 distinct methods.

Gelsolin Family Proteins
