Healthcare organizations nowadays consider improved performance, lowered expenses, enhanced patient care and quality of services, and safety when they’re intending to implement new information and communication technology (ICT) based apps. Having said that, despite massive expenditure in health information systems (HIS), no genuine proof of the overall advantages of HISs yet exists. The publishing of research which capture the impact of the implementation and use of ICT-based apps in health care might lead to the development of an evidence-based health informatics that may be utilized as a platform for selections made by policy makers, executives, and clinicians. Health informatics requires additional studies figuring out the factors impacting effective health information systems HIS implementation and capturing the results of health information systems HIS implementation. The goal of the project is to enhance the accessible information about the impact of the implementation and use of health information systems HISs in health-related institutions. All the assessments contained in this dissertation used qualitative research methods. A case study design and literature review were carried out to gather data. This thesis’s outcomes spotlight a growing need to share knowledge, discover techniques to assess the affect of investments, and formulate indicators for success.
